Description:
Jan Cerny is a young designer who creates edgy menswear pieces, works with the uniformity or re-creates iconic pieces of a menswear wardrobe. His collections are about rough process with a garment, his pieces are fractured and recomposed, from striking denim jackets and crisp tailored shirts to psychedelic furs and reassembled jeans. If Jan’s clothes come across as rough at first, they are in fact intricate and combine contrasting materials in rather surprising ways. Jan is a black sheep of Not Just a Label and he has already attracted the attention of magazines such as Fucking Young, Kaltblut or Diane Pernet’s blog ASVOF.¨
