The originally Slovak designer currently living in Prague started his career as a stylist. He decided to establish his own brand characterised by simplicity, minimalism and style in 2013. ‘I combine comfort and femininity. It’s essential to me that the collections are timeless and not subject to fads,’ he says about his work.
Following the success of his minimalist gowns at the spring MBPFW FW15, Michael is returning to the Fashion Week’s catwalk with the new spring/summer 2016 collection created from luxurious silk and characterised by its high quality craftsmanship, which is, however, distinctly different from his last lines. ‘This time the cut is not body-hugging but loose. I was inspired by women who do not have the body of a model and who want to attract attention and feel self-confident nevertheless,’ Michael describes. The new pieces are in dark colours.
