Markéta Šohajová has graduated from the Fashion and footwear design programme under the guidance of doc. Liběna Rochová at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. During her studies she has participated in an exchange programme at the Facultad de Bellas Artes in Granada, Spain and at the Theatre Faculty of AMU. In 2013, her dissertation titled "The other skin" won the first place in the Start Up competition of Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Weekend 2013.

In her collections she mainly focuses on working with leather. In her approach Markéta respects classical traditional methods and combines them with the techniques of other artistic disciplines. Her work balances on the edge of clothing, footwear and accessories form and is typically full of planar and spatial generosity and almost architectural view of the very form of clothing.
