Within the structure of Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week S/S16, Freshlabels Store Praha, prepares a Premium Pop-Up which will present a selection of Fashion Week's designer's current collections. You will have a unique opportunity to try, buy, and fall in love with products that carry a story and original design. The Premium Pop-Up will take place during the entire course of MBPFW, which will begin Monday the 31st of August untill Sunday the 6th of September. In addition to the designers' collections, the opening will also offer free refreshing and delicious beverages.

Apart from summer exhibition, there has also been a new POP UP Září gallery opened in Veletržní palác. It was created above the bookshop directly in Malá dvorana. The author of the exhibition’s conception is curator and jewellery-maker Eliška Lhotská with an author installation by student of Academy of Fine Arts Prague Ondřej Vicena. The installation introduces Září’s thin line between applied and free art as well as its new project – ko-lektiv, ko-lekce, ko-lektor (co-llective, co-llection, co-llector) for which chosen fine arts personalities created jewellery – Richard Loskot, Mark Ther, Zdeněk Lhotský, Michal Cimala, Čestmír Suška, Jakub Berdych, or respected theoreticians – Veronika Ruppert and Adam Štěch, thus creating a unique collection of collector’s items.

The limited AM² line is bound to charm you with it's decent colours, quality handwork and great variability of the individual pieces.

La Gallery Novesta is going to host a brunch during MBPFW S/S16, where the current fall/winter 2015/2016 collections of three designer brands are going to be introduced. The first is the Lote brand representing Lenka Trlicová. Well combined timeless clothes made from quality materials with a large share of handiwork. The second is ABOUT from Brno – two designers Radka Hortová and Anna Cichá create a line of clothes using quality materials. The third designer is Lucie Králová, a co-author of the Krakora brand. She likes working with structures and volume and she is often inspired by fine arts.

On Tuesday 2 September at 5 pm, Galerie ZÁŘÍ will open a one-day exhibition of jewellery-maker Alžběta Dvořáková, who has been working on the “Na pokecání” (“For a Chat”) collection since 2011. The small exhibition during a large fashion event will introduce a collection of bibs by a AAAD Prague student from K.O.V. studio. These “jewels” will be presented as a performance in cooperation with ZÁŘÍ gallery. The opening and at the same closing night shall therefore provide opportunity not only to “chat”, but also to try food prepared by several jewellery-makers. Alžběta says: ‘I never go a day without a chat.’ The one-day exhibition is also the only event organised at ZÁŘÍ gallery this month.

The historically first Sustainable Fashion Day is open to fashion professionals as well as consumers. We are going to focus on basic information about fashion industry and sustainability as well as on the ways in which we could influence the current situation and system. Apart from discussions and presentations mapping the Czech sustainable market fashion and its potential and dealing with implementation of sustainability into business models thus bringing practical information for consumers of fashion and cosmetics, the programme also includes screening of True Cost, which discloses the true cost of our clothes. 

On Friday night, a new conception is going to be introduced. Its working title says it all - art/fashion/prosecco fusion. The first collection to be sold there is that of Eva Vontorova's Ether brand. The conception’s partners are La Gallery Novesta, Dvorak Sec Contemporary and Prosekárna. The common space also offers limited collections of fashion and jewellery designers, which are going to be changed every month. Modern art is also going to be presented – not only by Czech and foreign artists exclusively represented by Dvorak Sec Contemporary. All is going to take place in a pleasant environment offering Italian sparkling wine Prosecco. This is a unique conception in the Czech Republic, however, you are likely to come across it in NY or somewhere else too.

The presentation and sale of a limited collection of aprons, which was created as part of the Zástěrka/Apron project together with the designing trio LaFormela exclusively for MBPFW S/S16. Delicious brunch inspired by its cook is going to be prepared and served in style by Bára Karpíšková alias Bjukitchen. During the entire event, other aprons by Czech designers are going to be on sale – aprons by D. Nová, M. Drápalová, J. Polanka, Z. Kubíčková, H. Zárubová, P. Ivančic, M. Sabo, Leeda and others and a limited line of aprons with jewellery by Nastassia Aleinikava and Blueberries. 

On Sunday evening Public Interest will yet again host the (unofficial) after party of MBPFW S/S16. The bar located in Old Town, on “the street where tourists get lost”. Here resides the genius loci of a seemingly cracked and darkened Prague – slightly tattered – like it has been there for years. The bar is just a stone throw away from Anežský Klášter, and it puts together clearly incompatible – Prague, similar to a piece of London, New York's Bowery or Brooklyn.
